DC Holiday Market
DC Holiday Market

DC markets are back in full swing for this holiday season. If you need any last minute gifts that are special, want access to tasty, indulgent food or just want to enjoy the fabulous holiday atmosphere, going to one of these markets is an excellent choice.

The DC Holiday Market in Dupont circle has become increasingly popular over the years for friends and families to enjoy during the holiday season. These markets are also perfect places for our students to enjoy the company of their friends and family while soaking in the holiday joy.

The market in Dupont circle features tons of different pop up-shops. From detailed ceramics, to intricate chocolate designs and unique crochet pieces, it is the perfect place to find a special gift for a loved one. Lots of items available are fun and whimsical, which is hard to find in today’s age of shopping full of chain stores. In addition, the market features incredibly yummy food options.

There are a few options for gourmet hot chocolate, which seemed to be a popular choice for the shoppers as the line for the stand continued down the street. The hot chocolate featured toasted marshmallows that are blowtorched to the perfect amount of toastiness and decorated with milk chocolate shavings. If you’re hungry for a meal, there are also numerous options for you.

Other market options near our school include the Old Town Alexandria Market, and the Northern Virginia Christmas Market in Chantilly. There are also many more happening in DC, like the Downtown DC Holiday Market at Penn Quarter. If looking for something in Maryland, there is a German-style Christmas village in Baltimore, as well as the Maryland Christmas Show in Frederick. If traveling for the holidays, be on the lookout for more markets sprinkled throughout your travels, and Happy Holidays Patriots!
