Johnas Sadauskas, Photography Editor

Johnas Sadauskas is a junior and the Photo Editor for The Sentry. This is his third year on staff and his first year as a Photo Editor. His soccer team has done pretty well for not knowing that they moved up a division till the week of the first game. He is passionate about cooking and taking care of his pets. His culinary skills are above average but not amazing. Sadauskas has a dog named Frenchy and a bearded dragon named Bucky. His dog is 15 years old and still acts like a puppy. Johnas’s lizard Bucky is around 6 years old and is around 3lbs.

Jackson Weber, Head Editor

Jackson Weber is a senior and an Editor-in-Chief for The Yorktown Sentry. This is Weber’s third year on staff and his second as an editor. Beyond the classroom, Weber can typically be found at the climbing gym, watching Formula One or cheering on The Commanders. He is an active community member and is looking forward to a fantastic final year on staff. This year he hopes to drive the viewership our writers’ works deserve through expanding social media presence. Weber’s goal for this year is to leave our school in a better place than he found it–one article at a time.

Julie Piedrahita, Photographer

Julie Piedrahita is a junior entering her second year on staff as a photographer! She is the most excited to take photos at various sporting events, including football, field hockey, and volleyball. In her free time, you’ll find her hanging out with friends at the mall or Starbucks, or cooking one of her many saved recipes on Instagram. She enjoys going to the gym, and driving around late at night. She takes an active role in her community through coaching girls recreational volleyball, and works down at the Taqueria in Harrison. She can’t wait to have yet another great year on The Sentry!

Andrew Cole, News Editor

Andrew Cole is a senior and the News Editor entering his third year on staff. In his free time, Andrew enjoys watching sports, hanging out with friends and going to the gym. Andrew also plays varsity football for our school as a linebacker. Outside of school, Andrew enjoys watching his favorite TV shows, The Office, Breaking Bad and South Park. Andrew also spends time playing rec basketball with friends and family. He is looking forward to being the News Editor this year and enjoying his last year on staff. In the future Andrew wants to pursue a career in engineering.

Aanya Goel, Instructional Technology Coordinator

Aanya Goel is a junior entering her second year on staff. This year she will serve as our Instructional Technology Coordinator. She is a dedicated member and captain of our school’s ultimate frisbee team. In her free time, she enjoys reading, rock climbing, and attending concerts with her friends. Her favorite artists to listen to are Hozier, Role Model, and Harry Styles, but she loves listening to any and all music. Outside of school, she plays a multitude of recreational sports, like basketball and flag football, but her favorite sport to watch is Formula One. Her indoor hobbies include experimenting in the kitchen, and you can often find her baking the latest cake that appeared on her Instagram for you page.

Bridget Lohmeyer, Social Media Editor

Bridget Lohmeyer is entering her senior year and third year on staff as this year’s Social Media Editor. When she’s not spending time with friends and family, she can usually be found working at CD Cellar. She loves watching a variety of sports like tennis, soccer, football, and baseball and is a die-hard Patriots fan. Her favorite subject this year is Literature with Mr. Klein because she loves to read and write. She is looking forward to highlighting several of our school’s sports teams on Instagram and is very excited to be part of the Yorktown Sentry team again.
