Johnas Sadauskas, Photography Editor
Johnas Sadauskas is a junior and the Photo Editor for The Sentry. This is his third year on staff and his first year as a Photo Editor. His soccer team has done pretty well for not knowing that they moved up a division till the week of the first game. He is passionate about cooking and taking care of his pets. His culinary skills are above average but not amazing. Sadauskas has a dog named Frenchy and a bearded dragon named Bucky. His dog is 15 years old and still acts like a puppy. Johnas’s lizard Bucky is around 6 years old and is around 3lbs.
Zoe Davis, Head Editor
Zoe Davis is a senior returning for her fourth year on staff. She is so excited to help edit and lead the Sentry this year. In her free time, she loves baking and listening to music, especially Vampire Weekend and ABBA. She combines both of these passions in her Instagram baking account, @zoes.baking. When not baking for this class, she can be found playing lacrosse and running cross country and indoor track for our school. She also loves watching the Premier League and is a huge fan of Liverpool Football Club. She can’t wait for another great year on The Sentry!
Jackson Weber, Head Editor
Jackson Weber is a senior and an Editor-in-Chief for The Yorktown Sentry. This is Weber’s third year on staff and his second as an editor. Beyond the classroom, Weber can typically be found at the climbing gym, watching Formula One or cheering on The Commanders. He is an active community member and is looking forward to a fantastic final year on staff. This year he hopes to drive the viewership our writers’ works deserve through expanding social media presence. Weber’s goal for this year is to leave our school in a better place than he found it–one article at a time.
Aanya Goel, Instructional Technology Coordinator
Aanya Goel is a junior entering her second year on staff. This year she will serve as our Instructional Technology Coordinator. She is a dedicated member and captain of our school’s ultimate frisbee team. In her free time, she enjoys reading, rock climbing, and attending concerts with her friends. Her favorite artists to listen to are Hozier, Role Model, and Harry Styles, but she loves listening to any and all music. Outside of school, she plays a multitude of recreational sports, like basketball and flag football, but her favorite sport to watch is Formula One. Her indoor hobbies include experimenting in the kitchen, and you can often find her baking the latest cake that appeared on her Instagram for you page.
