This year I’ve had the pleasure of being matched with my incredible buddy Maddie! She always knows how to make me laugh and how to put a smile on my face. She’s a dedicated member of Best Buddies and comes to all of our after-school events. Maddie is a freshman who loves Charlie Brown, spending time with friends and playing with her dogs, especially her puppy Yoshi. In addition to participating in Best Buddies, Maddie is a member of Young Life Capernaum.

I’m so grateful to have Maddie in my life. She reminds me of what Best Buddies is all about: friendship and having a great time with wonderful friends. I cannot wait for our friendship to grow stronger and to make more memories together this year and in the coming years. It’s hard to believe that a few years ago I didn’t even know what Best Buddies was, and now it is such a big part of my life. Maddie is such a great person, and I’m so happy that she’s my buddy!
