These thoughtful DIY gifts are all easy to create and guaranteed to make your loved ones happy this holiday season.

  1. Cookies in a Jar- This fun gift is perfect for the holiday season. All you have to do is put all the ingredients of a cookie mix into a large mason jar and top it off with a piece of fabric. It not only looks cute, but it is also a perfect and cheap gift that any neighbor or teacher would love.
  2. Photo Letters- Are you struggling to come up with a gift for a close friend? Michael’s and other craft stores sell wooden letters. Buy the initials of your friend’s name, and then paint them completely with white paint. Print out pictures that the two of you have together in black and white ink, and paste them on to the letter.
  3. Hot Cocoa  Ornament- By filling a large, clear ornament  with hot chocolate ingredients (mix, mini marshmallows, etc.) you can create a fun and easy gift that anyone would love!
  4. Photo Board- This is another sentimental gift idea for a close friend. Get a small to medium size cork board and paste pictures with the two of you along with cute quotes or magazine clippings. It is a perfect gift for any of your friends. You can also decorate the border of the board to add a little fun.
  5. “52 Things I Love About You” Cards- This is a perfect gift for your boyfriend/ girlfriend. Start by getting a deck of cards and create a hole punch in the top left corner. Then come up with 52 reasons why you love the recipient of your gift. Print out the reasons and glue them on to the cards (one reason per card). This gift is simple and so sentimental.
  6. Peppermint Candy Sugar Scrub- This gift is perfect for any girl who just loves winter scents, which most girls do. This handmade scrub can be simply made and stored in a mason jar or soap dispenser.
  7. Peppermint Bark- This is perfect for the holiday season and is super easy to make. By putting it in a cute box or container you can make anyone happy with this delicious treat.
  8. “Open When” Cards- This is another great gift for someone you don’t see everyday. Get cute colored envelopes and write specific letters that would bring a smile to their face when they are down.
