Senior David Craighead performed his One Person Show on Ron Franz from the intrepid novel Into The Wild. He agreed to sit down for an interview, delving deep into the inner recesses of the thespian mind and what it means to completely submerge oneself into the art of the One Person Show. He divulged information indicative of a sincere appreciation for the performing arts and what they had to offer his adolescent self. He seemed to have glean from the past four years that one learns to empathize with one’s character and realizes the opportunities available in regards to self-exploration through acting. He explained his attraction to Ron as an off-kilter literary encounter in junior year, saying that Ron’s briefness in the novel was what piqued his own interest in what could be if taken to the next level. Craighead did so without pause and without hesitation, pouring four years of his blood, sweat and tears into the project.
