Overheard in the Halls

In every hallway of the school, some of the strangest and funniest conversations can be overheard. Whether it be about classes and teachers, sports games or just random topics, the halls are a great place to talk and joke with friends. While talking with friends is great, some of the best conversations are those overheard by other people walking in the halls while you lap or walk to class. Be they odd, amusing or downright confusing, these fragments of conversation often leave the eavesdropper wanting to hear more context. Here are some of the greatest:

“We sat down and didn’t know what the hell we were supposed to be doing.”

“My Spring Fling dress is prettier than yours.”

“The world is round.”

“Somebody said there’s an iguana in his backpack!”

*screaming*

“Have you gotten the Dr. Pepper yet?”

“It’s not cracked it’s just deformed.”

“Move your foot or I’ll break it off!”

“Do you know any girls without boyfriends?”

“You can’t just brag about your grade when everyone else got a C.”

“Can you be my counselor?”

“You guys are like little babies; you can’t walk around without us.”

The next time you’re walking in the hallway by yourself, listen in to all the conversations going on around you. You never know what you might hear.
