During the finale for season 20 of the Bachelor, Bachelor Nation was crushed to hear that Joelle Fletcher was sent home without a proposal from Ben Higgins. After Ben proclaimed his love for JoJo, he told her, “I found love with someone else more,” and then promptly proposed to Lauren Bushnell. America was devastated by Ben and JoJo’s failed relationship, but ecstatic to hear that JoJo would be the next Bachelorette.

Watching this season’s trailer, we knew we were in for a wild ride. It revealed both the romantic and crazy moments from the upcoming season. Judging from the teaser, several guys proclaim their love for JoJo. In the dramatic part of the teaser, there is tension between Chad, the “alpha male,” and the other guys in the house. Chad’s aggressive behavior followed by crying and blood is a tip-off that Chad is causing trouble in the house, physically harming other men. The drama continues when other men are suspected of dating other women and coming on the show just for fame and fortune. The trailer gives us a small sneak peek into JoJo’s journey to find love, and leaves us wanting even more.

24-year-old JoJo Fletcher is a real estate developer from Dallas, Texas. Each man that came out of the limo was stunned by JoJo’s beauty and approachable, down-to-earth personality. In attempt to catch JoJo’s attention, some guys made sure to make their limo arrivals unforgettable. Some of these crazy first impressions included dressing up like Saint Nick, serenading with a chorus and riding in on a unicorn.

The first night was full of men grasping for time with JoJo.

Jordan, better known as Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ brother, stole the night away with his undeniable connection with JoJo. Receiving the first impression rose, he was pinned as the competition to beat. Despite his charming personality, this season trailer exposed his desire for fame and fortune which suggests that he might be here for the wrong reasons.

Being a country boy, Luke impressed JoJo with his horse riding skills. He surprised JoJo by riding in on a unicorn which brings us back to JoJo’s limo arrival on the Bachelor, in which she greeted Ben wearing a unicorn head mask. Knowing that Luke is a war veteran made him seem even more charming and respectable. We were also wowed by Alex, the U.S. marine. His sweet and charming personality made it easy to see him as a compatible match for JoJo.

We were all awestruck over James Taylor’s melodious entrance, in which he serenaded JoJo. On top of his singing-songwriting-guitar playing abilities, James also blew us out of the water with his sweet, lovable personality. The same goes for Wells. His adorable persona made him a crowd favorite.

Things didn’t go as smoothly for Robby, as accusations in the season trailer led us to believe that he might have a girlfriend at home. The guys seem adamant that Robby is fake liar who does not deserve a chance with JoJo, who deserves to know the truth.

Handsome and rugged Chad was one of the most memorable men of the night, to say the least. He made it apparent that he was the “alpha male” who is better than everyone else. The other men described Chad as an arrogant guy who does not have the right intentions.

In the season trailer, JoJo said, “There’s something about a bad boy that I seem to be drawn to. It’s gotten me in trouble. And then I met Ben. And he opened my heart up to something that I had never expected. So now I promised myself I would not go for the bad boys,” in reference to Chad.

The trailer reveals that JoJo does not see the conceited, villainous side to Chad that he expresses around the other guys. The trailer then jumps to Chad displaying threats of violence that lead to someone getting injured. Seeing Chad behave this way makes us fearful for the safety of both JoJo and the other guys in the house.

It threw us for a loop when former Bachelor Jake Pavelka made an appearance on the first night. After seeing how Jake messily ended things with the winning girl from his season, we were worried that he would vie for JoJo’s heart and do the same. Fortunately, Jake, being a close family friend of JoJo, just came to wish JoJo luck in her journey to find love and offer her some advice. Being one of the most widely disliked bachelors, Jake is probably not the best person to be giving relationship advice.

To find out more, tune into the Bachelorette at 8 PM ET/PT on ABC (American Broadcasting Company) to see how JoJo’s journey for love unfolds.
