Each year, the yearbook contains a theme for the entirety of the book to wrap up the year as a whole with one common topic. Some of the more notable themes from the past have been Stand out From the Crowd and Beyond. The theme is typically made up by the yearbook staff, but the school is filled with an abundance of creative minds, some which may not have the opportunity or time to be on the staff, and have the opportunity to contribute. The staff is reaching out to all students by having a theme and cover design contest in which one lucky, gifted student to win.

Not only will one get to design a book that holds all of the memorable high school experiences, but the winner will also receive a copy of the book for free. That’s right, no longer will one have to spend 80-100 dollars on everyone’s favorite book. This is an opportunity to share one’s artistic ability to the school along with saving some extra cash. For those interested, get your creative juices flowing and submit your design to Room 245. More information will come soon, but make sure to get your design in by the end of May.
